Well another season over, and we have failed again in getting up with the big boys. Early October, we were looking like we would finish mid table, but that 12? game run got us up there fightng for promotion.

Looking back, there have been 9 games in which we have scored 3 tries. If only 3/4 of these games we could have scored that extra try, who knows!

The game which stands out for me, was Brynmawr away in which I though we were awful. I know a few key players have been injured this season, but this game in particular showed we don't have the strength in depth.

Our lineout in the last 4/5 games has been unusually exploited, as was our scrum against Rhydyfelin away.

I think we need to strengthen in key areas, 2nd row, o/h and centre.

Gavin Roberts for me this season has got better with age, and hope he plays on for a few seasons more. Dean Phillips has been a good find, and has scored his fair share of tries this year.

When we are good, we are really good, and have played some superb 15 man rugby. But unfortunately, we haven't done this enough this season and have been found out too many times.

Here's to a successful 2009/10. Wink

For me if u are going to name individual players. The 1st that comes to mind is scott davies. Awesome talent. Bit unfair to critise scrum against rhyd. Why pin point the one negative. We have destroyed alot of packs this year. And i seem to remember us driving bedlinog scrum back at a rate of knots. For me the prob with mount is we raise our game for big games then automatically think we can beat lower teams. i.e brynmawr. I think the boys need to have a long hard look at themselves in the summer. We have missed out on promotion 2 years running by thinking we are better than we are.
